How do I keep my color patches from mixing in my blonde hair?
I have bleach blonde hair, with an under-layer of brown. Whenever I put patches of color (purple, blue, etc.) into my hair it will mix when I wash my hair. It won’t stay where I dyed it, and will blend into the blonde around it.
If anybody has any advice for me, that would be great(: Thanks.
Yes, the foil method is tried and true. Use foil on the section you’re coloring to keep it away from the other hair and try to rinse that section separately. Also, put conditioner in the rest of your hair before you dye the the strand. It will fill the pores in your hair and keep the other color from setting in if you have a drip.
