How do you attach prefab table legs to a table top you are building ?
I feel stupid asking this question but this is my confusion. I am making a small table from an old vintage window I have. I have made the window into a nice table top. I saw some pre-fab legs at a lumber yard that i liked. But, the prefab legs all have a screw coming out of the top. Is there a piece of metal you can buy to attach to the bottom of the table that would allow you to screw the legs into the table top?
they have angle brackets at the hardware store
or you could frame a skirt under the top and attach the legs to that
