Is gordon brown right for not sending more equipment to the front line in afghanistan?

Now as you all know that gordon brown made his monthly speech, and one of the topics was afghanistan. And he said that he will not be sending more equipment to the front because he thinks that it will make no difference to the troops overall. Is he right for not doing this ? I think he is out of order but that’s just my opinion we defiantly need more helicopters out!!

turning cowardly? sorry mate but british troops are in afghanistan fighting alongside US troops and the rest… you are thinking of spain, soon as an attack happens to them they all start panicking and bring back their poor excuse of an army because they are afraid.
i dont think gordon brown is right, they should be giving all the support they can to the british soldiers. But unfortunately it costs money, and a lot of money, especially when they are getting blown up from underneath because the coward terrorists cant face us… which is understandable seeing as soldiers from britain, US, canada, australia, etc etc are far superior then the ak-47 wielding terrorists… but still its cowardly.

edit: hehe first guy comment, save england from the germans? you mean britain, and i dont wanna get into the typical “who did what in ww2″ but america did help britain a lot when fighting in europe, but britain had defense, a very powerful navy(the best at the time) and a good airforce which proved a lot better than the germans, and british army was and still is one of the best so a fight on british turf would mean that the germans would most likely lose.
