How do I talk to teenagers in my novel, without being too stereotypical Plus?

I write a novel for adolescents in their mid to late teens. What subjects should they speak? How should they talk about these things? How should women speak differently from boys? I need advice for young people mainly. And I do not want to be too stereotyped more in my writing. By the way, say no sex or cars. I understood.

Well, it really depends on friendship. If friendship is really open and friendly, they probably never really talk about any this joke seriously and sometimes perverse things. (Guys joke probably more heavily on sex than girls, though. It's always annoying to my friends and I joke about things like a guy's private parts, and "spoo" and stuff … But my brother jokes about it all the time, casually.) If the relationship is less formal and more open, the conversation is probably quite flat / a lot of small talk, and sometimes a little distant. In addition, it depends on how mature and the teen is immature. If you find that it's easier to imagine what they say joke, and all that. If they are immature, Imagine an adult naive, that does not have any experience of the world and can sometimes be irrational. Or arrogant. Then there are some that are really mature, and to act sorta like the elderly. (Ha ha, I'm sorry, could not find another comparison.) Good luck! -Emma.
