Submitting a urine drug sample. How long does it take for all alcohol to be out of the body?
My buddy has to submit a urine sample at the alcohol and drug screening services facility by wednesday. He said he was out drinking last night. How long does it take for alcohol to be completely out of the body’s system? 24 hrs? He is probably going in on tuesday to submit his sample. Would that be enough time?
The alcohol will be out of his system, but they also test for by-products of alcohol metabolization. Some urine tests can determine any alcohol use within a five-day period. I don’t know what kind of test they are using. Check out this site, it explains a lot of things: http://www.alcohol-test-info.com/ Also, don’t overdo it on drinking water or taking vitamins – some people have died from “water intoxication” (hyponatremia) or vitamin toxicity!
