How is the environment they currently charge an electric car?
We all know there is a huge advantage in the conduct a zero-emissions electric vehicles, but the electric charge is always a coal mine, in most places. Can anyone direct me to an info that shows that even with the 20th century the current methods of mass producing electricity pricing and driving electric cars are more environmentally friendly than regular gasoline burn high mpg cars? Electric motors and batteries are much more efficient than combustion engines. today's engines are about 12-20% efficient, while electric motors can be 90% + efficient. Therefore, it depends what is the efficiency of your central electric grid and batteries. The Economist cites later, per kWh, a combustion engine can lead 1.5 2.5 km, 3.2 km of a diesel hybrid and electric car 6.3 km.
