What cough is when a cat begins to purr?
I noticed that whenever my cat begins to purr, he will in a fit of coughing and must stop. Is this caused by worms of the heart? Heart worms are transferable to humans? What should I do? Honestly I do not take money for a vet. I wish I did, but I did not. He was a stray dog and it was fine at first, but now it is showing this bizarre symptom.
I'm not saying that's what's wrong with your cat, but our cat has been diagnosed with asthma and is now on steroids to control it. He coughed a lot, sounding like he was working on a hairball, but there was no hairballs. Fortunately, if that is the problem with your cat, it is treatable and steroids are not very expensive.
