Copywriting Service #5: Split-Testing and Conversion Tracking

Did you know that all of your advertising can get better and better?

Here’s a “little” secret…

Most marketers either don’t do it the profitable way, or simply haven’t heard of it.

Without going into too much detail, split-testing is just testing two ads or messages, finding out which of the 2 works better, and improving our findings.

For example, what would you do if you had an advertising campaign that gave you an ROI of 2:3? ($2 profit for every $3 invested.)

You’d be running a loss…but why?

The sad thing is that most marketers never look beyond this point. Or, they don’t look further than they should.

This is another area where a pro copywriter and marketing strategist can help you.

Let’s say we find that your advertising campaign consists of 2 different ads.

Upon closer inspection, we find that one of the ads is losing money, and the other one is actually profitable for you. The losing one costs you $4 for every $1 it brings in, and the winning one returns $2 for every $1.

At this point, we can eliminate your losing ad, and focus more of our advertising into the ad that works. The overall effect of this is that your previously-losing campaign will now turn in a profitable ROI of 2:1.

There’s a little more to it, but that’s essentially what split-testing is. Your copywriter, if they do split-testing, can explain this in more detail for you. Unfortunately, even though they may conceptually understand what split-testing is, most copywriters don’t who know the technical aspects of split-testing on the web.

All of your advertising dollars can actually become an investment, instead of an expense, when this is done under the management of a good copywriter.

Conversion tracking is a little more involved. Basically, it’s a split-test that tracks your prospects throughout your marketing funnel.

Well this may take a while, its a tricky one.

Definatley not Shanna, there is a little girl at my primary school called that and people pressume her family are very low class-council estate dwellers, which is totally out of order but it happens. Not sure about Roxanne either, its cute but I don’t like the nickname Roxy.

Ellie Louise is beautiful but I prefer Ella Louise
OOO I absolutley love Lilly Rose and Ebony Grace but it might be tongue twisting with two Y’s on the end Ebony Bailey and Lily Bailey but if you dont think so then definatley go for one of them.
Love Layla May but Prefer Lila Mae and Natalie Georgia is beautiful too.
I think out of all your names I would choose Isobel may but Natalie georgia and Ebony Grace wouldn’t be far behind.

Dont Nathaniel and Don’t like Austin, reminds me too much of the film. Nathan Luke is nice but a little too common and I know from experience I liked to be the child with the only name in the class rather than the three charlottes, sarahs, daniels and nathans there were. Ethan chase, Ethan Craig and Lucas fynn are lovley. I prefer Lucas Fynn I think and Ethan Craig out of the two Ethans but if it was me I would have Lucas Ethan.
