How do you measure a crib for the right size mattress?
I found this really nice affordable crib and almost all reviews were good, maybe a handful out of hundreds said they had a problem with the mattress being too small. I’m not sure if it’s something to be overly concerned with because as I said only a few people seemed to have that problem. I’ve always thought crib mattress were all the same size, but in case that they are not how do you properly measure a crib for the mattress?
all mattress are standard size its the thickness you need to worry about, the foam ones are good for a new born but most likely when they move to a toddlar bed u will need a new one so i would just go with a 4in coil, that is the problem with the crib itself i would NOT get that crib unless you want you baby getting stuck or even killed, and DONT get a drop side crib they are not safe at all. there has been millions of recalls with several companies all with the drop side crib be safe and go get a new non drop side crib that a mattress fits in snugly, dont so looks or money over safety.
