How can I learn how to draw cartoons of old style Warner Bros?

I am mostly very detailed, realistic, graphite paper illustrations. I really want to learn to make cartoons. I really do not like all that "Anime" stuff. I always liked things like Warner Bros. Road Runner Bugs Bunny, and such and I would really like to draw in this style. Anyone know where I could get online tutorials or from a specific book that can teach beginners to intermediate artists how to do what I just mentioned? Thank you!

I am a art student at the Art Institute of Illinois and I specialize in animation. A really good book I recommend is the animators survival guide. It shows numerous positions and goes through cycles of walking and how to exaggerate your characters to make them more real. Another good source is to simply copy those you love. design practice as the rider from road in many positions, and then eventually try to draw him into your own installation. Also look facilitators Disney's home, they basically built the foundations of world animation.
