What should one do if one feels disillusioned with life and the values of society?
What should one do if one feels disillusioned with life and the values of our society?
What does one do if one doesn’t want to go to school to get a degree so that one could be a wage slave regardless? What if one values something more substantial than our values of consumption and superficial relationships? What if one wants to escape for an society that glorifies consumption? Escape from the social pressures, the expectations, and the general fast paced life of modern society? This life has no value, not we are obligated to conform; to conform to the absurdity.
That’s what I keep hearing from the rest of the board trolls too. Apparently, they can’t handle the stress and pressure of living in an ever changing society.
I suggested moving to Mars–just to be nice–but no one has a ticket to ride on the space shuttle yet. :0)
