Some kind of critter is stealing the red peppers from my garden, what sort of animal would be able to do this?
I planted yellow, red & habenero peppers in some clay pots in our backyard. The red peppers are disappearing every now and then from some critter. I saw a squirrel in the pot this morning digging around. My wife says it coudn’t be a squirrel taking the peppers.
Habaneros maybe, but a mature sized red pepper is a little big for a squirrel to pack off. Look for spoor of two legged critters.
