How to Deal With Moody Man! Here is Something You Absolutely Need to Get Right Before It’s Too Late
Women are known for being moody, especially when their hormones are supposedly raging. Very rarely do we find a grumpy guy who has a hard time bottling his feelings. When you’re in a relationship with such a guy, know that breaking up with him or meeting his grumpiness with anger aren’t the keys to solving this concern. Here are surefire ways to diffuse his moodiness:
Learn to Read His Signals
Women tend to spill what’s emotionally bothering them; but for men, it’s a bit more complicated. They sometimes withdraw or react indifferently to situations that they go through. When he refuses to show his vulnerability, be there for him by gently asking what’s bothering him. When he flares up, just keep your calm and let him have his alone time.
Keep in Mind That YOU Aren’t His Concern
Women have a tendency to feel that they are to blame when a man suddenly becomes moody. During grumpy periods, step back and leave your man alone-you wouldn’t want to be in his way when he fuses out.
Ask If He’s Ready to Talk
Men would rather sulk than talk about their bad feelings to anyone. So when you see him turning rather quiet, ask him if he wants to talk about his concern; if he doesn’t, never take it against him.
Take Things Lightly
If he’s feeling cranky because his boss ranted ceaselessly or he had an argument with a friend, you can try to make him feel better by having some good humor. Gently coax him to snap out of it; but if he’s still not up to letting go of the negative feeling, then stop being comic and start giving him his space.
Remember that He’s Also Human
Regardless of how sweet he is during your intimate moments, your boyfriend or husband is also human so he can also experience anger, frustration, and even depression. Be cool about it, and he will greatly appreciate you for it.
Divert Your Attention
When you’re tempted to nag-don’t. Don’t focus on his negative behavior, instead, do some chores such as cooking, mowing the lawn, or doing the laundry. You can also step out of the house and have brisk walk at a nearby park.
Distract His Attention
The only way to stop the moody behavior is to deviate his attention as well. You can do this by playing some soft music, turning on the TV, or telling him about your day. Avoid confronting him about his concern; he will talk, anyway, once he cools down.

How do you deal with a grumpy loved one who snaps at you even it’s not your fault?
Please some advice on how to stay calm and patient when someone really close to you acts grumpy but doesn’t want to say what is wrong with him. I can’t help but to feel its my fault but I know I have absolutely nothing to do with his cranky mood. I just can’t help but to feel hurt!
Sounds like you’re right on. You know it’s about him and not you but of course it hurts anyway. I’d walk over to him, take his hand or sit down next to him and say, “Did you have a bad day?” He’ll probably pull his hand away and say something else unkind but stating the real problem out loud just might make you feel better.
Or maybe when he snaps you could just say, “Ouch, that hurt.” Letting people see our feelings can make a lot of difference. Honest communication can go miles. Good luck and hold onto what you already know. It’s not your fault. Good luck!
