Religious Jewelry an outward sign of faith
The power of religious symbolism has passed into history. For many religious denominations, the sacred symbols have often taken the form of personal jewelry. Religious jewelry has been used as an outward sign of ones faith.
The symbol used often indicates the religion of the user. All the worlds religions have placed a high value on symbolism and the wearing of religious symbols is said to strengthen faith user.

Since the death of Christ is widely regarded as a sign of death and the future resurrection, the cross is a passive reflection of the belief in an afterlife of spent in the sky.
The Star of David or Magen Star is a symbol very important religious roots in Judaism. The star is sometimes called the Shield of David, referring to the shield of King David. Wearing Star of David, as the Christian cross, the symbol is meaningful for people outside the Jewish faith. The star is like a symbol six faces that were thought to be a symbol of good fortune, often in the Middle East and North Africa.
A recent addition to Christian jewelry, are rings that are worn to signify different principles of faith as the purity and chastity. The sacrament of baptism is a sacred rite and very important among Christians. Baptism rings, pendants and pins are common gifts given to the celebration of the sacrament. As with all types of jewelry, jewelry with a religious theme is found in a wide variety of materials. Gold is the most popular precious metals for jewelry and religious jewelry is no exception. Many places of worship are decorated with symbols of faith reflects the historical importance of gold and other precious metals.
