The history of Lionel toy trains

Do these railways old Lionel transformer and have a value?

When I moved into my house a few years ago, was left behind a railway facility (no trains) and an old Trainmaster Type KW Transformer in the corner. Can you tell me if the tracks and transformer are worth keeping / selling? I do not want to throw something that is useful to someone else. Thank you.

Hello, Mrenticon! There are certainly people out there who would be interested in these items. Although it is really the engines and cars that are of value, parts track Basic and processors are also being sought. I'll try to find a site for "Lionel train collectors. If I do not get back yo you I 'm sure there are magazines and train collection with a classified section. I'll see what I can do. Certainly not what Chuck stuff. Someone out there would enjoy having it! John H
