Ernest, the Moose Who Doesn’t Fit $9.75 Ernest is a rather large moose with a rather large problem. He is so big he can’t fit inside his book! Luckily, Ernest is also a very determined moose, and he and his little chipmunk friend aren’t going to give up easily. With some tape, odd bits of paper, and plenty of enthusiasm, the pair constructs an enormous gatefold page by themselves, and everything fits together in the end. … |

The story follows the flamboyant Bre… |

How did being raised as a girl during the first two years of Ernest Hemingway’s life effect him?
I am researching him for a history project and I cannot seem to find the answer to this question in any of my sources. Help, please and thanks!
You can’t find the answer because it isn’t the kind of question that HAS a simple answer. Even Hemingway himself may not have known the answer to that one. But there is a difference between being “raised” as a girl, and being “dressed” as a girl. I think the latter is what Hemingway’s mother did, and it wasn’t all that uncommon for little boys to wear dresses and curls until they were 2 or 3 years old at that time.
