Good monologue when auditioning for Beatrice in Much Ado About Nothing?
I’m going to be auditioning for Beatrice in my school’s production of Much Ado About Nothing, and I need to find a good monologue. What are some characters/monologues that are somewhat similar to Beatrice’s character? Monolgue suggestions as well as characters that are similar from other plays would be appreciated, since I’m going to have to read the play anyway. Thanks. 
a funny shakespeare would be good. helena from a midsummer nights dream? preferably not from much ado, seeing as that’s the play they’re doing and they’ll hear that script too many times. but doing a shakespearean monologue would be good, so they know you can deal with the dialect well.
