The Origin of the Barbie and Ken Dolls

Many children who have a favorite type of toys. This can be teddy bears, dolls Cabbage Patch, Care Bears, dogs and cats sweet. They may even be the famous Barbie and Ken dolls. These two dolls are well known by many people and not just children. While these two dolls are mainly used as toys by little girls, collectors will not hesitate to buy one of these if they fit into.

Barbie and Ken dolls are made so that they resemble adults. The number of careers and styles years have an impact on the lives of these dolls. Today you'll see that the world of Barbie has many accessories and items that can be used with one of these two dolls. There are also accompanying dolls are from different ethnic backgrounds.

The original Barbie doll was based on a German doll called Bild Lilli. Once done Mattel Barbie and acquired the rights to the German doll, Lilli was soon abandoned. Barbie then officially named Barbara Millicent Roberts. Ken was named Ken Carson. The names of Barbie and Ken have been taken from the names Ruth Handler, who was the original designer of Barbie.

While Barbie made her debut on the toy market in 1959 at the International Toy Fair in New York Ken made his appearance in 1961. From 1961 Barbie and Ken have been considered as a couple. Their relationship was a relationship on and off. After a relationship of 43 years, Mattel Company decided it was time for the two dolls relationship to end.

This separation lasted about two years. In 2006, Barbie and Ken have been made in a couple again. Although the reason for the separation of the famous couple is probably due to lower sales, why they are a couple, it probably Barbie does not seem complete without Ken.

Although the popularity of both Barbie and Ken is attributed clothing and accessories you can buy, the look of the dolls may also play an important role. I'm writing a story for my glass adv.english. We received a picture of a pair of shoes. We had to write a story about the person who wears shoes ssaid. The shoes I received were these boots cowboy vintage. I have my character .. I just need a story. We needed to do a little "about how" checklist. Here's the checklist, filled with what I im. Name: Michaels Keisa (or Willow Sanders, I do not know which to choose) Looks: unruly red hair, green eyes, skin Light use: local college student, working at local coffee Fun: reading, piano, photography in the most interesting element its breifcase: idk what to put for this What they had for dinner last night: coffee and a muffin coffee deepest darkest secret: Number of persons with teddy bear (idk, it's a wrong answer to this question) Thanks! Well … it could be a story Romantic, where she meets a guy and everything, and he loves … and boots. Or you might have a flashback to another story about how she found with cowboy boots vintage (maybe something interesting that happened?) or it can be removed by wicked … the possibilities are endless.
