Flashing LED and not floppy controller
I am facing problems with a floppy drive. When you start the computer, I get the message "Error reading drive A:" as the LED continues to blink. Also the state of the floppy drive in Manager Device as shown in MS-DOS compatibility. I tried many ways to solve this but nothing works. " So I think you guys help me.

Start Windows in Safe Mode and try to access the floppy drive. For Start Windows in Safe Mode, restart your computer, press F8 when you see "Starting Windows" and choose Safe Mode start menu. Do not use a disk utility that is not compatible with Windows ready DMF disks. These utilities can damage DMF disks. Tool ScanDisk Windows recognizes and does not damage the disc DMF.

If you can access the drive drive, follow these steps:
Use the secondary mouse button (mouse) click on My Computer, then click Properties on the menu that appears.
Click the Device Manager tab.
Double-click the disk controllers.
Click on the floppy disk controller for the reader that you are having problems, then click Properties.
In Windows XP, click the check box Disable in this box hardwareprofile. This will disable the Windows protected-mode controller driver for the floppy drive.
Click OK.
Restart Windows normally.

Also you must be sure that the following conditions are met:
The floppy drive controller is not supported in protected mode.
There are factors of loading in the CONFIG.SYS or AUTOEXEC.BAT may be required to access protected mode.
There are drivers loading in the CONFIG.SYS or AUTOEXEC.BAT can cause conflicts in Windows and need to disable.

You can follow the steps mentioned below to floppy accessingthe:
Use the right mouse button on My Computer, then click Properties on the menu that appears.
Click the Device Manager tab.
Double-click the floppy disk controllers.
Click the click the floppy disk controller, and then click Delete to remove the controller.
Click OK.
In the Control Panel, Double-click Add New Hardware.
Click Next and then click Yes to let Windows detect the hardware in your computer.
When the wizard Adding new hardware is complete, restart the computer and try again to access the floppy drive.
