Ever heard of a drink called a Koala Bear?
In Hawaii, at the Hale Koa hotel, on Waikiki Beach, they had a specialty drink called a Koala Bear. It is kinda like a mudslide or a slushy (but, not too thick) kind of drink with, maybe, Bailey’s, Kaluha and chocolate syrup inside. If you know of this drink, please let me know what the ingredients are and how to make it. Thanks.
Hey I was looking for that recipe too!! We were at the Hale Koa in 2003 and drank a bunch of those, we are going back in January so I started thinking about that drink and tried to find the recipe, the only one I have found is this, but I don’t remember a banana flavor, of course it’s been awhile. (Even if this drink isn’t the same, it does sounds good though!)
1 oz dark creme de cacao
1 oz banana liqueur
2 scoops vanilla ice cream
Blend everything until smooth. Sprinkle nutmeg on top if desired.
