im moving out of coll. next semester and I just wanted to know how do you go about buying property?
im not into the real estate stuff and I thought that individual property would be cheaper, so I just wanted to know how do I go about purchasing property in a city. any answers would be appreciated. thanks!
contact a realestate office in the area where you want to buy. They will have you fill out an application for preaproval for a loan. Sometimes there is a fee of up to $100 dollars just to fill out the application. Once you are preapproved for a loan, which in America you want to have even if you can pay cash for a property because the interest in part is tax deductable, and investing your money is wiser than letting it sit as equity in your house. Only stupid people let their equity sit in their house uninvested. You might as well stuff your money under your matress. Sorry I got off on my soap box a little. Once you are preapproved you go shopping for a property in the price range you are preapproved for. The real estate company you have chosen to represent you as a buyer will make an offer for you on the property and help you take care of all the necessary paper.
