Can a 7 year old female pom and a 3 year old male pom have babies?
I have a 7 year old female pomeranian. She is very healthy and updated on her shots. My brother’s friend’s mother is interested in having my dog and her 3 year old male pom make babies. Is this a good idea, though? Is the male too young for my pom?

it’s a bad idea unless they have both had genetic testing done and been entered in AKC conformation shows and have done well in them. Age differences don’t matter with dogs but you realize that the responsibility for all those pups will be YOURS (the vet expenses, for the prenatal visits, possible c-section, shots and worming and vet checks after the pups are born) and that your b**** could DIE during the whelping process. If she rejects the pups it will be YOU that is feeding them every two hours round the clock. If your brother’s friend’s mother wants a puppy, let her go buy one. You could potentially be out thousands of dollars and lose your dogs life in the process.
