Retro Candy: Ten Delicious childhood favorites
In the 1970s, when sweets were at their best, the culmination of the week was to take our pocket money to the local sweet shop, showing a giant pot filled to the brim with delicious candy, and say 'quarter of these, please. "Our mothers never seemed to mind, one quarter of kola cubes would last a good few days and we keep pretty quiet … I mean, have you ever tried to talk with a mouthful of cola cubes? It is not easy!

1. Fizz Wiz Pop Rocks
