Founded in 1960, the Bills play all of their home games at the Ralph Wilson Stadium. The Bills also have a number of highly recognized hall of fame players. Running back O.J. Simpson was inducted in 1985. Guard Billy Shaw was inducted in 1999. Quarterback Jim Kelly was inducted in 2002. Head coach Marv Levy was inducted in 2001. Guard Joe DeLamielleur was inducted in 2003. Wide receiver James Lofton was inducted in 2003. Running back Thurman Thomas was inducted in 2007.
The Bills Wall of Fame includes Ralph Wilson, Darryl Talley, Mike Stratton, Fred Smerlas, Tom Sestak, Patrick J. McGroder, George Saimes, Jack Kemp, Bob Kalsu, Robert James, Kent Hull, Joe Ferguson, Elbert Dubenion, Joe DeLamielleur, O.J. Simpson, Marv Levy, Billy Shaw, Eddie Abramoski and “The 12th Man” which was an honor bestowed upon the fans in 1992 when the Bills set the NFL record for home attendance in a single season with a record high of 635,889 in 1991. We’ll see if any new records are set this season.
