How do i dye over my dyed brown/ red hair to blonde?

I have natural blonde hair but i have been dying it brown/ red for bout 2 years now. How do i get rid of the brown/ red colour and go back to blonde.

I’m actually removing the colour from my hair now!! I dyed over my blonde hair and it went dark red. I researched on the internet and found “color oops” and “colour Zap”- I think they might only be sold in America, but I’m not sure. I’m from the U.K. and found a similar product called “Colour B4″. I did a strand test and it took the colour back to blonde. I’m waiting to see if it works on the whole head now though!

It seems pretty good, and has had good reviews on the internet. Just google “colour b4 hair colour remover reviews”. It doesn’t bleach your hair and has no ammonia or peroxide in it. There is a long explanation and simple instructions in the box. It basically says that it removes all colour that has been deposited on the hair, but wont return to your natural colour if you have had bleach or highlights. It will return it to the lightest shade underneath the dye. However, some colourants “stain” the hair with red/black pigments, and the colour remover might leave copper hints in your hair if this is the case. (It also has instructions on how to fix this) And it is safe to dye your hair straight after using this product if you wish to.

There are also lots of “how to” tutorials on youtube showing how people have used colour correction.

I got mine from Boots, although I’m sure they sell this product and similar ones in any drugs store. Hope this helps .
