I am trying to make a cake that is shapped like a baby. I also need a recipie for cream and berrie filling/?
How about baby blocks
Baby Block Cakes
Prep Time:
1 hour
Ready In:
2 hour 40 minutes
Ingredients:
CAKE
1 (18.9-oz.) pkg. Pillsbury® Moist Supreme® Funfetti® Cake Mix
3/4 cup water
1/2 cup dairy sour cream
2 eggs
ICING
6 cups powdered sugar
1/2 cup water
1/3 cup light corn syrup
1/4 cup margarine or butter, melted
1 teaspoon vanilla
1/2 teaspoon almond extract
Desired color tinted frosting
Decorating bag and tips
Decorator candies
Preparation Directions:
1. Heat oven to 350F. Grease 13×9-inch pan; line with waxed paper and grease again. In large bowl, combine cake mix, 3/4 cup water, sour cream and eggs at low speed until moistened; beat 2 minutes at high speed. Fold in candy sprinkles. Pour into greased and lined pan. Bake at 350F. for 30 to 40minutes or until toothpick inserted in center comes out clean. Cool 10 minutes; carefully remove cake from pan. Remove waxed paper from cake; cool completely.
2. If necessary, trim cake to obtain straight sides and level top. Cut cake lengthwise into 4 equal strips. Cut each strip into 6 equal pieces, forming 24 blocks. In large bowl, combine all icing ingredients; blend at low speed until powdered sugar is moistened. Beat at high speed until smooth. If necessary, add 2 to 3 teaspoons water until icing is of desired drizzling consistency.
3. Set cake blocks on wire rack over 15x10x1-inch baking pan or waxed paper. Spoon icing evenly over top and sides of cake pieces. (Icing which drips off can be reused). Allow icing to set. Using tinted frosting, decorating bag, tips and candies, decorate to resemble children´s building blocks.
Yield:
24 cakes
Tips:
*If desired, 1 pkg. pudding-included white cake mix can be substituted; fold in 1/4 cup multicolored candy sprinkles
