Literary Process: By interrupting the story with his own thoughts and opinions of the story, “taking out” any non-essential information, and directly putting his own opinion into the reader’s mind but saying “this is what I hated” things like that
Fairy Tales: By making fun of the “happily ever after” (the ending where all the bad things happen to Wesley, Buttercup and the rest of the gang), and the other times that “perfect” fairy tale situations fail.
