The Company and Gund Teddy Bears
Gund has been in the teddy bear making business for over 100 years, there has been a the first companies to produce always a teddy bear in the United States. Due to the fact that Adolph Gund should have the best of everything in life, he assured her teddy bear too. His door had to be made with high quality materials, which explains why they were made with fur mohair. It does not stop there, however, men create these beautiful bears had to be the best craftsmen in the region. The golden ticket for the Bears Gund has always been there in brand-stuffing the bear, which has created a sweet teddy bear.
The company began create teddy bears in Norwalk, CT. Adolph has never had a family that is probably why he has asked someone to die before selling his business at.
Adolph Gund right before his death, he sold his business to Jacob Swedlin but a restriction, the company has always had to be called, "Gund. Jacob is also the man who introduced everyone to the licensing of cartoon characters like Mickey Mouse or Snoopy. Jacob pass the business to his daughter Rita and her husband Herbert Raiffe, they both knew would never change the name of the company.
Company continue to prosper under Herbert and Rita, but it would be their son. In 1977, Bruce Raiffe would join the company. The company continues to grow today always making sure to keep his name when it passes from one person to another. Although successful business with its latest teddy bear, they have never forgotten the man who started and have always continued to use the safety of toys with good quality and to all their articles, like him.
