Supply & Demand Chain Executive Container Exchanger as winner of Green
The editors of Supply & Demand Chain Executive Magazine Green Awards announced for 2008 exchangers and containers ( www.ContainerExchanger.com ) is among winners. The editors note that "green" and "sustainable development" have become new watchwords for the supply chain. Whether or not you believe that green supply chain goals are practical or feasible, and regardless of your feelings on topics such as global and global trade fair, the fact remains that companies increasingly are beginning to integrate environmental objectives into their accountability programs social, and heads are turning to their supply chains to meet these objectives. "
This one year supply & Demand Chain Executive recognized small, medium and large companies that take steps to achieve green goals and created the 2008 Green Supply Chain Awards. The designated airlines of the review panel selected 21 that are distinguished by their plans to integrate goals sustainability in their own supply chains or enable sustainability in the supply chain of their customers.
