Is boxing the great Jewish sport?
Let’s face it, boxing as a whole, would never be the same without the amazing contributions of the great Jewish people.
Most of the greatest experts, boxers, managers, trainers, promoters, boxing commentators are Jewish, we run this sport and everybody knows it.
Boxers such as Benny Leonard, Barney Ross, Ted “kid” Lewis, Abe Attel, Maxie Rosenbloom, Battling Levinsky, Joe Choynski who destroyed a prime Jack Johnson, Max Baer, Joey Maxim and so many others.
Boxing trainers such as Ray Archel, Teddy Atlas, Whitey Bimstein, John Schaeffer, Lou Stillman.
Experts, promoters and commentators such as Larry Merchant, Howard Cosell, Bert Sugar, Bob Arum, Max Kellerman and so many others.

Boxing has certainly been a way for the jewish people to defy stereotypes about their race.
Someone once said about Benny Leonard “He did more to conquer anti semitism than a thousand textbooks”.
