The Best Since psychological thriller "Wait Until Dark" is "Dressed to Kill"

Dressed to Kill – 4 stars (excellent)
"Dressed to Kill" is the most horrific psychological thriller I've seen since "Wait Until Dark" with Audrey Hepburn as a blind woman recently who is terrorized by a trio of thugs while they search for a doll stuffed with heroin they believe in his apartment.
Dressed to Kill is just as tense and frightening and tense adds elements of a steamy shower scene as the female lead Kate Miller (Played by none other than Angie Dickinson) offers pleasures, a sex scene in a taxi that is so hot and in Ahead of its time it exploded near the vehicle, and a razor slitting murder scene in an elevator that is beyond graphics.
This is a disturbing film involving an unhappy, wife of libido, an anonymous lover, a psychiatrist, a psychopath, a stalker and a serial killer, not to mention nudity feminine eroticism, vulgarity and transsexualism.
The DVD version that I rented was the traditional version and the full version; I opted for the uncut version. Despite its entirety horrible, Dressed to Kill is an excellent production (less than the uncut version) as a thriller psychological, because all of the above horror scenes actually add to the line of history and as such are not sensational enough draw attention away from the drama.
We can thank Brian De Palma for that. De Palma both wrote and directed this film with stunning results mystery murder is up there with the best of the best. As writer / director efforts result in terrible movies. The film was released 1980, 27 years ago.
In the film, Kate Miller (Angie Dickinson), a middle-aged, sexually frustrated home, "a fantasy of taking a shower and later complaints that day to her psychiatrist Dr. Robert Elliott (Michael Caine) about the pathetic performance of her husband in bed.
Kate goes to a museum and meeting a strange man (Ken Baker) who she ends up with a taxi on the way to his apartment for more sex. While there, she discovers that the man has a sexually communicable and bolts, to return when she realizes she has taken off and forgotten his wedding ring.
After his return from the elevator, she is abruptly reduced to death by a tall blonde woman wearing dark glasses. A high-priced call girl (Nancy Allen) is the only witness to murder and becomes the next target slasher. She is rescued by Kate's son Peter (Keith Gordon) who called on his assistance in the area for fear of his mother's murder solved.
Dressed To Kill is charged with writing and clever clues that go right by you on first sight. I rarely watch more dramas because I've seen enough of my life and adventure action to both natural disasters and dramatic films of today are absolutely ridiculous in principle and presentation.
Fans of Angie Dickinson will be encouraged to know that a body double was used in the shower scene in the movie. He might as well have been Angie. Two years after Dressed to Kill, when she was 50 years old and still in surgery, a panel of designers and Artist of Hollywood make-up in 1982 its first rank in the list of best female bodies Star.
Angie said that the taxi scene was filmed New York, where several onlookers watched the scene and shouted, "Right on, Police Woman" (referring to his role as television earlier that Sgt. "Pepper" Anderson in the crime series "Police Woman").
The sex and violence in this film are a terrible choice for viewing by anyone except adults, and only adults who can handle these subjects without being terribly affected. This limits the film popularity and in virtually any price for the film making the effort.
As a murder mystery I would say Dressed to Kill is excellent and very, very scary movie.
