Jumbo Stuffed Animals Make The Perfect Gift
By definition, stuffed animals are a luxurious comfort that can keep a child (or an adult) company for hours. Remember, however, that once you succumb to their lovable presence, you will be hard-pressed not to find yourself the owner of a plush or two (or perhaps a hundred!). Mind you, stuffed plush toys are addictive, so proceed with caution.
One of the pluses of owning plush toys is that there are a wide variety to fit every pocketbook and desire. One can spend thousands on antique gems, a couple hundred on quality editions from plush artists (or from major companies) or just a few dollars for something soft and cuddly. If you’re going to go all out, then jumbo plush animals are by far the cream of the plush world crop.
Jumbo stuffed animals are exactly as their name implies: they are huge and bulky and above average in size and shape. Jumbo plush animals are a whole lot of hugs all stuffed into one big plush toy! Many stores have a terrific assortment of jumbo stuffed animals – you can choose from wild animals to domestic ones. They also come inn a variety of sizes: from three and half feet tall to four and a half feet long. These are the type of plush that are ideal for playing with given their enormous size. Jumbo plush animals are extremely durable and can last a long time – if your child chooses to rough-house with it, it won’t come apart as easily as a much smaller version. But, at the end of the day, jumbo stuffed animals are not really designed for this type of pastime. After you take one look at them, all you’ll want to do is snuggle up close with one.
If you are a toy collector, the collection just won’t be complete without an addition or two of jumbo stuffed animals. They are a must have for anyone that already has a large variety of plush toys. By the same token, if you’re unsure what to give your son or daughter (or niece or nephew) on their next birthday (or holiday) why not look at purchasing jumbo stuffed animals? While it’s true they make great beds and pillows due to their size and overall comfort, they are also outstanding items to decorate a room with. In fact, an entire theme can be used around them- the possibilities are endless.
Like most plush toys, jumbo stuffed animals are modeled after real animals. You will be hard-pressed to not find one out there that your child may have seen on television or at the zoo. From elephants, to tigers, to bears, there is something for everyone.
Hoppes’ is effective but expensive. Would it harm firearms or be dangerous to use gas or kerosene?
I recently used a jumbo-sized bottle of Hoppes No.9 to fill a plastic container and completely immerse and soak a dissassembled firearm.
The results were amazing – sparkling clean with hardly any scrubbing, even in the filthy bore, feed ramp, and bolt face area.
However, the stuff is pretty expensive to do that regularly. I’ve been told that it’s mostly kerosene. Is that true?
Would using kerosene or gasoline, which would be cheaper, be effective? Would it be safe? Would it harm firearms?
Mix up a batch of Ed’s Red, a DIY cleaner made with lanolin and acetone, among other things…it is flammable, so be careful.
