My dog Teddy chews on things?
Teddy my dog, chews on most everything. But now we got him a hairbrush to brush his fur, and he chews on that too! I can never brush him because he always wants to eat it! How do i stop him from chewing on this and other things he is not supposed to chew on?
Also i forgot to mention he IS a puppy so he is teething.
There is a type of spray (Sorry, but i have no idea what spray) that makes it bitter for the dog. You can spray it anywhere, and they have scents too.
If your dog is just a puppy, get him a few chew toys! Don’t give it to him all at once though, switch one once every week and make it interesting! Another way to correct it is to teach the dog to “Let Go” To do this, play with a chew toy, then say “Let Go” and pull out another toy. This teaches the dog that if he “Lets go” he will get another toy to play with. So basically, say “Let Go” and shove a different toy into his mouth. Work slowly.
