How to create a Red, White, and Blue outfit from Walmart?
At my school, there is a contest for who where the most red, white, and blue and its really challenging cause no one sells stuff like that at this time of year. The contest is in 3 days.
1. What could I make out of a shopping spree at Walmart?
2. What other stores could have some USA stuff I could wear?
3. Do you have any good ideas for something to wear with a regular wardrode?

Don’t be afraid to stop at your local Goodwill/thrift store. I always find great items for events such as these, and end up paying only a few dollars, depending on how many items I find. And I don’t feel bad if I need to cut it up cause it only cost me $2.
Knee socks painted with RW&B stripes are cool. You could always use men’s gym socks. They sell fabric paint 3/$1 at my Goodwill store, and Walmart has them for about $.50 a piece.
Face paint adds a nice touch. Or blue eyeshadow and bright red lipstick. You can use white liquid eyeliner as a mascara if you can’t find any. White lashes really draw attention.
Ribbons in your hair- maybe pigtails (ribbons through the braids), angel-tails. Maybe a RW&B necktie.
Make sure you paint your nails. Attention to detail may help you win!! Red shoelaces? Sunglasses?
You could always make a cape out of an American flag!! Just pin it together at your neck.
What about props? RW& B umbrella, baton, purse/bag, etc.
What about an appropriate colored hula skirt? You can make one from colored grocery bags. Cut them into strips and glue/sew them to a piece of elastic. (In my experience, the most creative/kooky always wins. Gotta think outside the box and be different from everyone there.)
Maybe you can find a red or blue wig? Or use that hair color spray on from a costume shop.
