Has anyone volunteered abroad in Cusco, Peru for a period of several months or more?

I plan do volunteer work for several months in Peru just wanted to know if anyone has advice or experience!

Sorry no, I did not, but that seems interesting. Then I ask what type of volunteer work you do? I tried to do something like this, like Habitat for humanity, or something, but saw nothing.
