Cat possibly will be killed or hurt!?
My Friends Grandfather has put multiple traps on his car (not sure what kind, I think it is one that has teeth and clamps shut, like a bear trap??) because his neighbors cats keep jumping on his car and getting paw prints on it, my friend has tried to talk him into taking the traps off, and trying a more humane way, but he refuses, and he does not care.
I personally don’t understand what the problem is, it is only paw prints that can be cleaned off, and they are not scratching up his car. I do believe tho that if he does get a cat it will mess his car up. But that is not my concern, I do not want any cats to get hurt. Does anyone know of any other ways to keep the cats off of his property and off of his car?
And is he does get one of his neighbors cats (Which by the way are his relatives) could he get in trouble, Its on his property?????????
Yes, he will get in trouble..he could be sent to jail for animal cruelty. What if he injures a wild animal or a child with this trap. Also he could find himself in trouble if the owners tries to take revenge. He may be the one that ends up dead in the end. Has he even tried talking to the neighbors about their cat? Most places do not have “leash laws” for cats. He can check with the local laws to see if they are breaking any by letting the cat run loose. If so, he should let the police take care of it. Also…has the man never heard of a car cover..much less drama than killing a cat and possibly having neighbors kill you!!!
