The Lyceum Theatre in London
The Lyceum Theatre, 21 Wellington Street, Westminster, London, WC2E 7DN, is a West End theater with a capacity of 2000 seats. The current location of the opening July 14, 1834, and the theater was primarily designed by Samuel Beazley, who gave the theater a unique feature in the balcony, which hung over the circle, but in 1882, CJ Phipps, architect of theater, rebuilt the building partially and made improvements. The existing building today still has the facade and grand portico designed by Beazley, but the guard theater interior design Bertie Crewe in 1904, restored in 1996 after being used for a long period of time as a ballroom Mecca. Early years the theater has seen the performance of the first modern English opera, "La Sylphide Mountain" in the same year of its opening. This performance was followed by "Fair Rosamun", made in 1837, "Farinelli" in 1839 and "White Jersey," shown in 1840. Michael Balfe managed the theater from 1841 to 1843, production of the Opera, but this proved unsuccessful. The works of Charles Dickens was associated with the theater at this time, and an adaptation of "Martin Chuzzlewit" has lasted more than 100 shows between 1844 and 1845. Madame Lucia Elizabeth Vestris managed the theater from 1847 to 1855 and produced shows James Plank and adaptation of "A Tale of Two Cities" by Tom Taylor. It was then directed by Charles Fechter 1863-1867. In 1871, under manager Hezekiah Linthicum Bateman, the theater produced with Sir Henry Irving. 1874 Hamlet ran for 200 nights with Irving in the lead role. In Bateman's death in 1878, Irving took over the theater. During his term manager of several popular shows were played, including "The Merchant of Venice", "King Lear" and "Much Ado About Nothing". 1904 saw the rebuilding of the theater of the Interior and the theater began presenting music and variety shows, in trying to compete with the London Coliseum and the Palace Theatre. This, however, failed, and the theater has begun, once again, Spaces strictly drama. In 1919, more changes were made and drama continued to play for 10 months during each year. In 1937, the theater has been turned into movies, but one film, "The Gang Show" was never proved, in April 1937. The following month, the space has been be converted into a theater. The London City Council bought the building in 1939, planning to demolish it. After the war, the demolition plans have been abandoned and the building was reopened as a ballroom. During the 1960s and 1970s, space was used as a concert hall and television broadcasts. The theater closed in 1986. Owner Brent Walker leased space, but eventually gave the lease, allowing the theater to be restored and in 1996, the space was converted into a theater with the capacity to present musicals large or opera. "The Lion King" musical has played since 1999.
Do mortgage brokers receive a higher commission for delivering variable rate mortgages for the banks?
I'ma CPA, but am not entirely sure how the mortgage brokering process works. I received information in summary In the past, indicating to me that more rate increases, a committee of the bank pays the broker to provide them the loan. I think the exact words when rates are higher than the bank rate "consistent". Now I have heard that if the broker brings to the bank loan rate variable that the broker receives the Commission and more. Is this true? Thank you, Craig R. Fechter, CPA
It is true that the broker is paid at a rate rated above, but not true that they are better paid at a rate adustable. The reason why some brokers and lenders to push a rate case variable, it is lower than a fixed rate and "easy to sell." It's unfortunate, but many loan officers are and vendors, and sell what they think is easiest instead of what suits you best.
