Teddy Bears were given a true gift for more than a century. In fact, the name of Teddy Bear became apparent when Theodore Roosevelt was President of the United States. The young president has given the name of the bear.
The story began when Roosevelt was in the woods and stumbled on a baby bear who was in pain. Roosevelt asked to kill someone that the animal out of mercy to end his suffering. A drawing was made later about Roosevelt and the baby bear he ordered to be shot. The photo shows that Roosevelt was referred by chance the name of Teddy by his friends and family members. He held the little bear and since his mercy towards the bear was imminent, people began using the name Teddy Bear to describe the creatures.
There no evidence as to who created the first teddy bear. All we know is the name stuck and soon enough Teddy bears were manufactured to represent the good heart of the 26th president. People have different speculations about how the bears may have come into existence. Yet there is no solid evidence to substantiate the allegations.
Teddy Bears have been made primarily as toys children. The soft plush bear is a nice friend for a boy or a girl. Firefighters and police men would Teddy Bears to sick children in hospitals as a way of showing they care. The Teddy Bear was referred to their friend who went through the illness with the child.
In many ways the teddy bears have been more than sufficient to raise the spirits of children. For some children, it was the last thing they see when they put their heads down and put an end to their fight with all their health was ailing. Bears however, was enough to help children persevere and continue to fight.
Currently, people are given for Teddy a variety of different reasons. Many husbands and wives begin to give each other a teddy bear in a romantic gesture to show they care. Couples Teddy also swap to commemorate special occasions such as birthdays or anniversaries.
A Teddy has the ability to bring a smile on the face of anyone. A bear does not hurt you or leave your side. They are perfect shoulder to cry, they do not judge and they do not take offense to everything you say.
In a manner of your teddy bear can be your best friend. In a world that keeps constantly in motion and never slows down, it's good to know that you can come home to an adorable plush teddy bear which is always a pleasure to see you.
Teddy Bears are sufficient to transform any what a bad day in a large one. It is perplexing how a simple stuffed animal can bring so much joy to millions of people around the world. But in a world that is full negativity and pessimism it is good to know that you can always have something that can keep your good mood and make you believe that the glass is half full.
