My Stepmom is a Total Loser!! What should I do?
My stepmother sucks. Every day I get some CRAP about how a 9-year-old girl(her daughter’s age, who has to sleep with a blanket called”tickle” and a bear called “toasty teddy”) can be more mature than a boy who is 13(my age). Ever since she moved in, my dad has been totally distracted by her and completely forgotten us. That was step one of her horrible plan. Sort two is to get rid of every women who could possible have an influence on my father. Including the single parent of my best friend in the whole f***ing world. Step three is to make us as miserable as possible, even if it means throwing a red sock into the load of whites that I’m supposed to wear the next day, taking all blankets off my bed during the middle of winter, or claiming that something I have cherished my whole life belongs to her/her daughter. What should I do? Don’t give me any ‘wait until you’re 18 crap.’
sit down just you and dad and explain how you feel.You can say listen dad, seriously i feel that so and so is not happy with my living with you and tell him for instances like you did to us.I know this is all new to everyone having a stepmom. I am willing to work it out and do what i need to do to earn some respect here.I am your son,what do you think we can do to make things better. I need your help.I am just feeling like the odd man out here. I need love too you know. Then l;et him suggest things to you. I am sure he will come up with something.You keep saying ‘ us’
is there other of your own siblings involved?If so then all of you get a hold of dad if they feel same as you do and tell him how you feel.
You all can make this work. Dad needs your help also. Not cool trying to break them up. Obviously he needs a woman in his life and her daughter needs a dad figure too.Since they are married now to have a decent life specially unti l you are old enough to live on your own:p
