Something Truly special. For me I have a few things.

- A HUGE teddy bear my friend fighting in Iraq sent me for my birthday. We were talking at the time and the teddy bear is white, wearing a pink t-shirt(my favorite color) and has two panda bears on it, it says “Happy Birthday Baby” and “Be Home Soon” We were talking at the time and although things have changed between us I will always, always cherish and love that bear because I thought it was really special that he was the one fighting for our country, yet he did something so sweet for me

- Also, all the old jewelery, furniture, and knick-knacks that my great-aunt and grandma have either given or made for me. It’s a way to always keep them close to my heart and when they’re gone, I”ll always have their special belongings to remember them by.

My most valuable possession is my son, for one, but I hate calling him a “possession”, but other than him, I’d say my dad’s dog tags and my grandfathers’ dog tags are the most valuable, non-breathing possessions. I keep them in my room. I don’t know why, but they’re sentimental to me somehow. I guess they remind me that if they didn’t make it through the two wars they fought in, I wouldn’t be answering this question. That’s a slightly scary thought, if you’ve ever thought about it. Just think that, if you ever had a grandparent or parent fight in a war, if they died, the whole family tree from him/her to you would be gone, and that’s a slightly scary thought.
