My baby rabbit has fleas?
Hey!
I just brought home (yesterday) a baby bunny, she was with 11 other kits aswell as 2 older female rabbits, I’ve noticed she’s been scratching and nibbling herself alot so I’m guessing it’s fleas!
Recently I bought this thing off of a vet to fight off the fleas living on my miniature rats, I was wondering if this stuff would work on my bunny?
Please don’t use your rat’s flea treatment on a baby rabbit. Rabbits are incredibly sensitive to chemicals, and only a few flea treatments are safe (and even those should not be used on young kits). Advantage and Revolution are safe on adult rabbits and older adolescents. With a young kit, I would pick up a flea comb at the pet store and manuallly remove them. Dip the comb into a cup filled with water with dawn dish soap mixed in to drown them. Comb her down to the skin all over a few times- it will remove them, and unless she is exposed to anothe rinfected animal or is outdoors, she will not get reinfected.
