80′s game like screwball scramble but upright & with ape or monkey theme?
Have asked around and everyone I know remembers the game but not what it was called. We’ve agreed it’s something like Kong in the title. It was a yellow, upright game. The purpose of the game was to guide a ball bearing to the top of it, via stairs, a moving bridge, magnetic wall etc by pressing a button near the bottom. The final obstacle was to get a revolving arm to ‘catch’ the ball – the arm had a cardboard cut out of (if I remember correctly) King Kong holding a screaming woman. It was against the clock.
Similar to screwball scramble. It wasn’t aarrgghh or rock and roll maze. It’s from 80’s (possibly early 90’s) – please help! Any links to pics of it would be appreciated too.
